WHAT DO I DO  AFTER FAILING MY GCSE?

AFTER GCSES WHAT NEXT?

I get asked these questions about what are the options after GCSE

GCSE Results was be released to schools on last Wednesday the 21 August 2024 and was  made available to students

I even witnessed some 16-year-olds that did really well in their GCSEs and they got the school they wanted (sixth form). I was very happy and proud of them.

However, there were some teens that didn’t get the result they wanted and they were not happy and some of their parents may be gutted and not sure what to do!

So if you are one of those parents then today’s post is for you.

WHAT DO I DO  AFTER FAILING MY GCSE?

Let me start by saying that failing GCSE is not the end of the world. And this is not going to define your teens life.

They can register in a local college and they can resist the subjects they need for their chosen course. And if they pass they will be able to progress on trheir chosen course.

Dear parents, this is an important time for your teenagers and they need your support more than ever. So be there for them. And support them the best you can.

Also as parents you should speak to your local colleges to see what pathways they offer. Your teen could then do retakes of maths and English and combine that with a part-time job or apprenticeship.

Wishing all you guys all the best!

MY ADVICE FOR TEENS
