Dear New Mum, You are doing great

YOU ARE DOING GREAT MOMMA! ❤️

If you’ve been following me you will know that I’m now a grandma of 2.  

My daughter gave birth to a baby girl last Wednesday. 

So throughout this month I’m going to be praying for new moms and newborns.

 I will also be sharing some tips on looking after yourself as a new mum. 

Whether you had a C-section or gave birth naturally. 

Witnessing what my daughter went through during  delivery of her new baby with C-section and how brave and strong she was made me realise how strong and brave mothers are.  It’s amazing to see 😊

We mothers sacrifice everything daily, we sacrifice our body, love and even our happiness to see our little one live.  🙏🏾

Mothers are the strongest people on Earth! 

I don’t think there is enough praise for mothers.

 We go through hell and come back just to birth these babies.

I was overwhelmed that day and I now have a very special respect and love for my daughter.

A PRAYER FOR NEW MOMS

You’re doing great, Momma. 

Lord, I come to you with a heart full of gratitude and joy. Thank you for my little one. Thank you for blessing me with the gift of motherhood. Thank you for Your enduring grace, goodness, and mercy. Thank you for Your guidance and for lighting my way. Thank You for your endless protection, care, and love. Please forgive me when I stumble, and always be with me. Renew my weary spirit, and fill me with Your grace. With You and You alone, I know I can be the best mom for my baby. I need You, I worship You, I trust You Lord. Praise God to whom all blessings flow. I love you, O Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS 

Dear new mums, as you embrace your new role completely, keep in your heart that the Lord is always there for You, and Trust Him completely 

He is the one who has chosen you to be a mother to that baby you hold in your arms.

He knows You can do it, because He is with you every minute of every day. Turn to Him.

And my prayers for all pregnant women reading this is that the day of your delivery shall be an easy one and we will hear your voice and that of your baby or babies ijn 🙏🏾
