How,  you may be wondering? 

For example, Let’s say you are a maths teacher, and you create or make up some math worksheets for your students each day at school. 

Since it’s yours, why not start creating more of those math worksheets on Canva ( free app) and when you have at least 24 pages you can publish it locally or on Amazon KDP (which is also free) and sell it. 

Just thought I should share, because I have been able to do this and I am generating passive income from it daily.
